Terrain |
Shows general terrain features developed by Geoscience Australia, National Mapping Division (formerly AUSLIG). This is not available when zooming in at higher magnifications. |

Temperature |
Shows mean annual maximum temperature isotherms with a colour key on the right hand side of the map. Base climatological data sets supplied by the Bureau of Meteorology. |

Rainfall |
Shows mean annual rainfall isohyets with a colour key on the right hand side of the map. Base climatological data sets supplied by the Bureau of Meteorology. |

Waterways |
Shows the major rivers, derived from 'Global Map Data Australia 1M 2001' developed by Geoscience Australia, National Mapping Division (formerly AUSLIG). |

Regions |
The Interim Biogeographic Regionalisation of Australia categorises the Australian continent into regions of similar geology, landform, vegetation, fauna and climate. There are 85 such regions throughout Australia. (IBRA) |

Botanical Subdivisions |
The divisions used by herbaria in each state to divide their state into broad floristic or management units. These are often non-congruent at state boundaries. (map/abbreviations) |
